This Privacy Policy explains how KOTMate ("KOTMate", "we", "us") handles information in connection with the KOTMate restaurant POS, KOT and billing platform (the "Service"), reachable at app.kotmatetn.in, and this marketing site at kotmatetn.in.

1. What this site collects

This marketing site (kotmatetn.in) does not host its own signup form, does not ask for passwords, and does not process payments. It uses standard web analytics (page views and button clicks such as "Start Free Trial") to understand how visitors use the site, and may use cookies or local storage for that purpose. "Login" and "Start Free Trial" actions send you to the KOTMate application or to WhatsApp/email/phone — those channels are covered separately below.

2. What the KOTMate application collects

When a restaurant subscribes to KOTMate, we process the business and operational data needed to run the product, including:

• Restaurant/company details — name, address, GSTIN, contact information.
• Staff account details — login IDs and roles (never a personal email address; see the product's login design).
• Order, billing and payment-method data generated while using the POS/KOT/billing screens.
• Menu, pricing, tax and discount configuration entered by the restaurant.

We do not sell this data. It is used to operate the Service for that restaurant, generate the reports the restaurant itself requests, and provide support.

3. Contacting us (WhatsApp, phone, email)

If you message us to start a trial, book a demo, or ask a question, we use the details you send (name, phone number, restaurant name) only to respond to you and set up your account if you proceed.

4. Cookies & analytics

We may use privacy-conscious analytics (such as Google Analytics 4 or Meta Pixel, where configured) to understand aggregate traffic and conversion trends on this marketing site — for example, how many visitors view pricing or click "Start Free Trial". This data is not used to identify individual restaurant customers of the Service.

5. Data security

The KOTMate application uses password hashing, role-based access control, and encrypted connections (HTTPS) in production. This marketing site never asks for or stores passwords, card numbers, or other credentials.

6. Your choices

You can ask us to update or delete information you've shared with us by contacting admin@kotmatetn.in. Restaurant admins can manage their own staff and business data directly inside the application.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the Service evolves. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page.
